Icoone: a massage that makes 21 600 micro-movements a minute

The hands of even a very good therapist make one or two movements per second. The Icoone handpieces deliver up to 21 600 microstimulations a minute, and each one is designed to work the skin cell by cell without stretching it. Here is how the technology works and what it can actually do.

Icoone is an Italian device from I-Tech Industries built around the patented Roboderm technology. It is the only system in the world working on the Multi Micro Alveolar Stimulation principle: the surface of the rollers is covered with micro-holes, and each one creates a microscopic alveolus as it rolls, a precise point of stimulation for the skin and the tissue beneath it.

How Roboderm differs from ordinary vacuum massage

Classic vacuum-roller devices grip a large fold of skin and roll it out. That is effective but demanding: the skin is stretched, bruising is possible and thin or sensitive skin is not a good candidate. Icoone works differently:

What Icoone does for the body

The main strength of the device is its work with fluid and tone. Microstimulation triggers active lymphatic drainage and blood flow:

What Icoone does for the face

The facial handpieces work more finely: microstimulation activates fibroblasts, the cells that produce collagen and elastin. The result is a sharper contour, less puffiness and a double chin, and a fresher complexion. It is a natural lift with no needles and no heat: the skin simply starts working better on its own.

Icoone Laser: light adds to the effect

SOLAR has the Icoone Laser version, with additional laser and LED modules. Photostimulation enhances lipolysis in fat tissue and tones the skin, so anti-cellulite and body-shaping programmes work faster.

A session runs 45 to 60 minutes depending on the area. A course is 6 to 15 treatments, two or three times a week, with maintenance every three to four weeks. No downtime: straight back to your day.

More about the treatment

What to combine it with

Icoone is an ideal finisher in combined programmes: after Tesla Former it relieves muscle fatigue and speeds up the clearance of metabolic by-products, and after work on fat tissue it drains the area and brings the result forward. In facial programmes it pairs well with HydraFacial: cleansing plus tone.

Contraindications

Active skin inflammation, acute infections, thrombosis and phlebitis, cancer and a pacemaker. During pregnancy only the lymphatic drainage programme is allowed in later stages, and strictly with the doctor's approval.

Frequently asked questions

Will there be bruises, like after LPG?

No. Micro-alveolar stimulation does not grip a large fold of skin and does not stretch it, so there is no bruising and no soreness, even on sensitive skin.

How many sessions are needed?

Lightness and less swelling are felt after the very first session. A lasting result on cellulite and tone comes from a course of 6 to 15 treatments, two or three times a week.

Is it safe with varicose veins?

Yes, in gentle lymphatic drainage modes Icoone is safe with a tendency to varicose veins and couperose. The doctor selects the mode at the consultation.

Can face and body be treated in one visit?

Yes, the device has separate handpieces for the body and for the delicate areas of the face, so a face plus body programme is a common format.

Are there seasonal limits?

No, Icoone can be done all year round, including summer: neither the light nor the mechanical stimulation conflicts with sun exposure.
