Hire a cardiologist in Dubai

Cardiologists for multi-speciality clinics, polyclinics, hospitals and private practices in Dubai. A cardiologist is only as productive as the equipment and referral flow behind them: ECG, echo, stress testing and Holter monitoring, plus a clear route to the cath lab or hospital when a patient needs more. We check the licensed title, the hands-on diagnostic skills and how the doctor talks to worried patients.

Who we help you hire

A cardiologist who fits your equipment, your referral flow and your insurance panel, and who explains a heart diagnosis in a language the patient understands.

Licensing for cardiologists (DHA)

A cardiologist in Dubai practises only under the title DHA assigns, and that title follows the qualification and the years of experience, not the wording on the contract. Specialist and consultant are different titles with different requirements, so we read the documents against the role before you meet the doctor.

1
DataFlow (PSV): primary source verification of the medical degree, the cardiology qualification, previous licences and work experience.
2
Eligibility check: the qualification and experience are checked against the current DHA requirements to see which title the doctor can get: specialist or consultant.
3
Assessment: an exam or interview may be required, depending on the qualification, the country of training and the title.
4
Licence and facility: the licence is activated under your clinic or hospital; the cardiologist works within the scope the regulator allows for that title and for that facility.

Cardiologists already licensed in Dubai can start much faster through a licence transfer. Invasive work such as catheterisation also depends on the facility: the cath lab, its licence and the privileges granted by the medical director. If the clinic has no cath lab, hire for diagnostics, prevention and follow-up and agree the referral partner first.

FAQ

How much does a cardiologist earn in Dubai?

Market estimate: about 35,000 - 55,000 AED per month for a specialist cardiologist and about 55,000 - 85,000 AED or more for a consultant. Interventional cardiologists and doctors with their own patient base can be higher, often as a lower fixed salary plus revenue share.

Do I need a DHA licence to work as a cardiologist in Dubai?

Yes, for a clinic or hospital in Dubai. DHA assigns the title (specialist or consultant) from the qualification and the years of experience, and the cardiologist practises within it. The steps are DataFlow verification, an eligibility check, an assessment where required and activation under the employing facility.
