PR managers for brands, real estate developers, clinic and beauty groups, hospitality, tech companies and founders in Dubai. The PR manager earns attention the company does not pay for: articles and interviews in regional and international media, launches and events, awards, speaking slots, the founder's public profile and calm communication when something goes wrong. They manage the PR agency if there is one, or replace it. We assess candidates on a press release, a media list and a crisis scenario.

Coverage books can be inherited from an agency. The checks show what the candidate can do with your story and your contacts.
How it differs from neighbouring roles. A marketing manager buys attention through campaigns and owns the full plan; a PR manager earns it through media and reputation. A social media manager runs the brand's own channels; a content manager owns the website and texts. A PR manager is not a PRO officer: the PRO handles government paperwork, not public relations, and the two titles are often mixed up in job ads. Typical hiring mistake: hiring for a big coverage book without checking whether the coverage came from the candidate or from the agency's paid placements.

An agency brings media contacts and capacity for launches; an in-house PR manager knows the business, the founder and the facts, and keeps the story consistent all year. Companies with regular news, several brands or a public founder often hire in-house and use an agency for big launches. If news is rare, an agency on a project basis may be enough.
