Dental clinic salaries in Dubai what a clinic owner pays in 2026

A dental clinic in Dubai usually runs with the same team: general dentists, one or more specialists, a hygienist, dental assistants at every chair, a front desk that knows insurance and a coordinator who turns treatment plans into booked visits. This guide gives market estimates of monthly pay for each role, explains how fixed salary and commission on collections work for dentists, and shows the cost on top of salary, so you can plan the budget of a new chair or a new clinic before the search starts.

Fixed salary or commission: how dentists are paid

Most dentists in Dubai private clinics are not paid a flat salary only. The model you choose changes both the cost and who you attract.

What moves the number

Two dentists with the same title can differ in pay by half or more. These factors usually decide where in the range a person sits.

The cost on top of salary

Salary is not the full cost of a dental team member. Add these items when you compare candidates and plan a new chair.

How to build the team without overpaying

The right order of hires keeps payroll in line with the number of patients.

How we help

TLNT is a hiring consultancy. For dental clinics we help an employer define each role, set the pay as a market estimate and choose between fixed salary and commission, check the DHA licence route of every candidate, assess skills (for front desk and assistants a practical skills assessment) and prepare a clear offer. You make the hiring decision and agree the terms with the candidate yourself; the person is employed directly by your clinic, the employer sponsors the visa and we give you a step-by-step checklist. For a new clinic we also help with team structure, CRM and patient flow.

Our fee is fixed for each role and agreed before the search starts. A 10% prepayment of the fee starts the search, the rest is due once the person has started work. If it does not work out, we find a replacement free of charge; the period is set in the contract. Consulting and CRM projects are priced after a free review.

FAQ

How much does a dentist earn in Dubai per month?

Market estimate: a general dentist in a private clinic earns about 15,000 - 25,000 AED per month or works on commission; specialists such as orthodontists, endodontists, periodontists and prosthodontists earn about 30,000 - 45,000 AED, and senior specialists with their own patient base up to about 55,000 AED. Many clinics pay a fixed minimum or around 30-40% of collections, whichever is higher.

How much does a dental hygienist earn in Dubai?

Market estimate: about 9,000 - 12,000 AED per month for a dental hygienist and up to about 14,000 AED for a senior hygienist. A dental assistant earns about 4,500 - 7,000 AED, and an experienced assistant for a specialist chair up to about 9,000 AED.

Should I pay my dentists a salary or commission?

A new clinic with few patients often starts with a fixed minimum, so it can attract good doctors while the schedule fills. Once the flow is stable, a fixed minimum or commission on collections, whichever is higher, links pay to results. Define in the contract what counts as collections and how insurance rejections are treated.
