In short: every doctor doing aesthetic procedures in Dubai needs an active DHA licence, a valid BLS certificate, malpractice insurance and privileges granted by the clinic. A GP additionally needs at least 2 years of clinical experience after graduation before aesthetic training, a recognised in-person training certificate (at least 50% hands-on) and a 1-year mentorship under a dermatologist or plastic surgeon. Professionals coming from abroad need at least 2 years of experience in non-surgical cosmetic procedures. The clinic must have at least one DHA-licensed dermatologist or plastic surgeon supervising these procedures.
