A nanny in the UAE works on a domestic worker visa sponsored by the family, under the standard MOHRE domestic worker contract.

Besides the salary, the employer covers the work permit and residence visa, medical test, Emirates ID and mandatory health insurance. By UAE law these costs cannot be deducted from the employee's pay.
