Financial analysts (FP&A) for SMEs, trading and holding companies, real estate businesses and clinic or salon groups in Dubai. The analyst turns the books into decisions: the budget and the monthly forecast, margins by product, branch or doctor, the model behind a new location or a price change, and a dashboard the owner actually opens. The accountant records what happened; the analyst explains why and what it means for next quarter. We assess candidates with a model and a variance case, not with a list of software.
Hire a financial analystLooking for a job?A financial analyst who builds models the owner can follow, explains a variance in two sentences and flags a margin problem before it reaches the cash.
A polished CV full of tools says little. The checks below show whether the person can model, think about drivers and explain the answer.
How it differs from neighbouring roles. An accountant and a bookkeeper keep the books accurate; a financial analyst uses them to plan and explain. A finance manager owns the whole finance function and often does the analysis personally in a small company; an analyst is worth hiring when the owner needs regular models, forecasts and branch or product reporting. Typical hiring mistake: hiring an analyst into a company whose books are late and unreliable, so the analyst spends the month fixing data instead of analysing it.

Market estimate for 2026: about 8,000 - 12,000 AED per month for a financial analyst, 12,000 - 18,000 AED for a senior analyst and 18,000 - 28,000 AED for an FP&A lead or manager. Large groups pay more; allowances and a bonus change the full package.
Usually not as the first finance hire. Start with clean books (an accountant or bookkeeper) and someone who owns the numbers (a finance manager or a fractional CFO). An analyst pays off when you have several branches, products or doctors to compare, a budget to track monthly and decisions such as new locations or prices that need a proper model.
