Internal auditors for family businesses, holding groups, trading companies and retail, clinic or salon groups in Dubai. The internal auditor works for the owner or the board, not for the finance team: they test whether processes and controls work in reality, find leakage in stock, cash, discounts and purchasing, and write findings that management can act on. In a family business with several companies and managers the owner rarely sees day to day, this is often the owner's most direct view of what really happens. We assess candidates on a real audit finding write-up.
Hire a internal auditorLooking for a job?An internal auditor who finds the real issue behind a control failure, writes it in a way a busy owner reads to the end and follows up until it is fixed.
Many candidates come from external audit and know the methodology, but have not worked inside a business where findings land on people they see every day. Test judgment, writing and tact.
How it differs from neighbouring roles. The external auditor signs the annual financial statements; the internal auditor works all year on processes and controls for the owner. A financial controller designs and runs controls inside finance; the internal auditor tests them independently and should not report to the person being audited. Typical hiring mistake: putting the internal auditor under the finance manager, so finance findings never reach the owner; or hiring a pure accountant who checks invoices but does not look at processes, stock and people.

It is worth it when the owner can no longer see every branch, warehouse or company personally: several entities, stock, cash at branches, many suppliers, managers who are relatives or long-time staff. A smaller business can start with a periodic external review and hire an in-house internal auditor when the group grows. Whatever you choose, the auditor should report to the owner or the board, not to finance.
